Destination Marais : sauvez le guide ! | Marais de la Rivière-aux-cerises, Magog
Permanent exhibition 2011 | LAMRAC
Project Background
In 2011, in collaboration with Christiane Michaud, La bande à Paul was awarded the turnkey contract to design and produce the permanent exhibition at the Marais de la Rivière-aux-Cerises Interpretation Centre (CIM) in Magog. The project aimed to inform and engage visitors about the ecological value of wetlands and the importance of their preservation.
What La bande à Paul Brought to the Table
The exhibition’s narrative was led by tiny, fantastical creatures said to inhabit the wetland, offering visitors a rich, imaginative experience. With multiple target audiences, the content had to be accessible at varying levels of engagement. Interactive stations and games encouraged animal observation, with some species housed on-site in vivariums. Interpretive signage and whimsical ‘riddle cards’ along the route helped sustain interest across age groups.
